years ago, there was a Chinese king who wanted to protect his country. However, enemies were able
to sneak in because parts of the wall of China were broken. So the enemies clambered over the small
broken wall and grabbed some children. The Chinese people were very scared.

In a small hut in a tiny alleyway, lived a Chinese girl with her little brother who wanted to save the
try. The sister was named Natalie and she was 18 years old. Her younger brother Tobin was 14.
But how could they help?

One day, they saw a glimmer and found a treasure chest hidden under their wardrobe. They had to heave
and puff to pull the treasure chest out. The treasure chest was a pretty Chinese box. Inside, there was a pink
magic potion bottle, and they found a label with the words “Special Wish Bottle”.
Natalie and Tobin wished that they could have a magic wand. So they made the wish and drank the potion.
Then “bling”, the wish came true! Natalie found a magic wand which she could use to disguise herself and the
others as the wall. Natalie and Tobin were amazed that nobody could hear them speak when they were disguised
as the wall. They could also turn the enemies into parts of the wall so that they could make a greater and bigger
wall. With that power, they could save the country!
They felt happy and relieved and went to see the King. The King heard that the invaders from the north and
the south were on their way to China, so he said, “If we could really turn the enemies into parts of the wall, then
that would be brilliant! But how could we make the wall a great big wall?”
They thought about it for a minute and Natalie came up with an idea. “Maybe we could make some “gold”
with clay and paint it with gold paint because the enemies love gold. We could then line the wall with “gold”,
and when they see the “gold”, it would make them line up.”
The King thought the idea was brilliant, so they started to use clay to make the “gold” and put the “gold” on
the broken pieces of wall.
The invaders who came from the north on chariots arrived quickly at the broken wall. When they saw the
gold” they said, “Wow, the Chinese people have left some gold. Let’s get it!”
As soon as they lined up to pick up the gold, then “bling”….“bling”…., they were turned into bits of the
wall. Hurrah, the plan worked!
The Chinese also tricked those enemies from the south and the broken pieces of wall soon became
connected together to form a great wall.
The King was delighted and he named the wall the Great Wall and he made Tobin and Natalie the Generals
of all the soldiers and Natalie and Tobin were really happy.
